We Build Ecommerce for the Agentic Era
Commerce is changing faster than most agencies are willing to admit.
For two decades, winning in eCommerce meant ranking on Google, converting browsers into buyers, and building storefronts optimized for human decision-making. That era is not over — but a new one has started alongside it.
AI agents are now shopping on behalf of consumers. They discover products, compare specifications, check availability, and complete transactions — without a human opening a browser tab. The brands ready for this shift will capture sales from channels that didn't exist two years ago. The ones that aren't will become increasingly invisible.
B2X exists to make sure mid-market ecommerce brands are on the right side of that shift.

Why B2X — Not the Others
Most Shopify agencies will tell you they're ready for agentic commerce. Fewer will explain honestly what that actually requires.
Here is what's true: Shopify already enabled MCP (Model Context Protocol) on every store in 2025. The protocol layer exists by default. But a protocol endpoint is not the same as AI visibility.
Shopify enabled MCP for you. But AI agents still can't find you — because your data, content, and architecture were built for humans, not machines. We fix that.
An agent that reaches your MCP endpoint and finds incomplete product data, missing GTINs, unstructured descriptions, and incorrect Schema markup will not recommend your store. We built our practice around this distinction — and we don't sell what Shopify already built.

FAQ
B2X is an ecommerce development and strategy agency specializing in Shopify, Shopify Plus, and Custom/Headless Commerce. We help mid-market brands prepare for agentic commerce — the era in which AI agents discover, evaluate, and purchase products autonomously on behalf of consumers.
We don't build on WooCommerce or Magento — our development expertise is Shopify, Shopify Plus, and Custom/Headless Commerce. However, if you're currently running on WooCommerce or Magento and looking to migrate to Shopify, that's exactly the kind of project we take on. Migration is often the right moment to rebuild with Agent-Native architecture from the start.
We serve brands in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), across the UK and Western Europe, and globally for English-language engagements. We work in both English and German.
Our sweet spot is mid-market ecommerce brands generating between €1M and €50M in annual revenue. That said, we regularly work with larger brands — including enterprise-level merchants in the €50M–€100M+ range — particularly for complex headless builds, agentic commerce strategy, and AI Commerce Automation. We work with both D2C and B2B brands across DACH and global markets.
Agent Visibility Optimization is the process of making an ecommerce store discoverable, readable, and actionable by AI agents. It includes cleaning product catalog data, implementing correct Schema.org markup (Product, Offer, FAQPage), optimizing content for machine inference, and setting up structured data that AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity can extract and act on.
Shopify automatically enabled MCP (Model Context Protocol) on all stores in 2025, which means every Shopify store has a protocol endpoint. However, an active endpoint does not guarantee AI visibility. If your product data is incomplete, your Schema.org markup is incorrect, or your content is structured for human readers rather than machine inference, AI agents will not be able to interpret or recommend your store. The protocol is necessary but not sufficient.
